Acupuncture is the insertion of extremely thin, solid needles at specific points.
It is a treatment method used in East Asia for for over 3000 years. Each point activates your body’s systems to rebalance your internal environment to heal itself, thus treating pain and dis-ease.
Modern research tells us that Acupuncture benefits us in the following ways: It improves circulation and releases blockages of energy in the body which in turn moves blood to decrease pain and stimulate organ function. It acts as a natural analgesic by interrupting pain signaling to the brain via opioid neuropeptides. It influences the body’s biochemical responses via the nervous and endocrine systems, and finally reduces pro inflammatory markers in the body.

A Princeton native, I graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York after studying for two years in California at Yo San University in Los Angeles. I am nationally board certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed in the states of New York , New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. My goal is to work with my patients to discover the narrative of what their bodies are saying, and to help alleviate physical and emotional pain through acupuncture and the different modalities of East Asian medicine. I will provide them with take home techniques to further their body’s own ability to stay in balance, and reach their health goals
